Histoire
"Was born and raised on a farm in Eastern Ontario near Hawkesbury. Euclide (my granfather), had 10 brothers and sisters. He was the second oldest of the family. Worked during WWI in the canadian merchant navy and at the end of the war, moved to Montreal. Worked for Canada Cement Company has a labourer until his retirement in 1962.
Met Arthemise C. at his oldest sister's wedding to Adeoda Carbonneau in Montreal in 1918 or 1919. Married in January 1920 and lived in Montreal util 1990 except for a period in Belleville Ontario from 1973-1985. Arthemise C died in December 1980 and both her and Euclide are buried on the Mont-Royal cem. in Mtl.
Euclide loved gardening and nature. He also loved working with his hands and practically built his own house. He was deeply religious (Catholic) and a very warm hearthed man who lived for his family and grand-children." Denis Van Wassenhoven
